Central Scotland Rape Crisis & Sexual Abuse Centre offers a free and confidential service of emotional support and practical information on legal and medical issues. Our aim is to support survivors of rape, sexual assault and child sexual abuse through the various stages of healing and through improved self-esteem and confidence, move towards reaching their full potential in life.
24-Hour Helpline:
The Helpline is staffed by trained personnel during normal office hours Monday to Friday, but specifically at the following times:
Tuesday / Wednesday 11-1 pm.
Thursday 7-9 pm.
Sunday 1-3 pm.

Counselling:
CSRC&SAC offers individual support on long or short-term basis, either in the Centre or somewhere convenient to the survivor. The service we offer is survivor centered, ensuring that the survivor determines the direction, pace and length of counselling sessions, empowering them to make the informed choices they feel are best for them in their life.
Medical Advocacy:
If required, trained support workers can accompany survivors with regard to any medical matter.
Legal Advocacy:
If required, trained workers can accompany and support survivors throughout the entire legal process. CSRC&SAC can provide information on legal rights and procedures.
Self-help:
We can provide leaflets and books on loan to assist with self-help for survivors and also for their family and friends.
Relaxation Therapies:
CSRC&SAC offers relaxation therapies for survivors, giving them an opportunity to unwind and take time just for themselves. |
